The First “Fitness Cup” Badminton Team Race Held by GDE Successfully Ended Edit Date：2013/05/06

The first “Fitness Cup” badminton team race of GDE ended successfully in the health centre of SMG (South Media Group) on May 4th, 2013. The race started on April 20th, including two stages: the group round robin and the final. There were two teams and the winner of each team would reach the final to compete for champion. Every department took actively part in the race. Players wanted to keep fit physically and mentally, and they also wanted to promote friendship and cooperation spirit with each other by trying their best to show what they were good at in the race. After a fierce competition, the 5th design department beat the others and won the champion. The other awards also found their owners. The race had achieved the desired effect.

In the race, players from each department showed great initiative. They tried all they could do to beat their rivals, grabbing quickly and smashing powerfully. On the court, players showed the audience circuitous tactics, brilliant offensive and defensive and consummate skills, which won the audience's cheers and applause. This race not only enhanced employees’ physical quality and strengthened their will, but also improved the combing ability and sense of group honor between players and fully embodied the players’ fighting passion and team work spirit.

The purpose of the race was to further carry forward the enterprise culture and to enrich employees’ cultural life in spare time. In such activity, employees acted actively and positively and they were always so brave to fight in games. It achieved the desired effect in the badminton race that there were more and more employees taking part in sport games, and more and more of them established a healthy and active lifestyle.
