Good News | Multiple GDE Projects Honored as “2024 Outstanding Demonstration Projects for Ecological Environmental Protection” Edit Date：2025/12/16

       On September 19th,the 9th China IE Expo Guangzhou concluded successfully. During the exhibition,the“2025 Guangdong Province Environmental Protection Industry High-Quality Development Conference” was held, which GDE attended as a specially invited enterprise. The conference grandly announced the selection results for the “2024 Outstanding Demonstration Projects for Ecological Environmental Protection” by the Guangdong Association of Environmental Protection Industry. Projects undertaken by GDE, namely the Phase II Project of the Biomass Comprehensive Treatment Plant, the Phase II Project of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the Waste Edible Oil Treatment Project at the Guangzhou Eastern Solid Resources Recycling Center (Luogang Fushan Circular Economy Industrial Park), were awarded this honor. This fully reflects the high recognition from the industry and clients for GDE’s achievements in ecological and environmental protection engineering construction, technological innovation, and green development, demonstrating GDE’s comprehensive strength and leading position in the field of ecological environmental protection.

 Circular Utilization, Empowering Green Development: Phase II Project of the Biomass Comprehensive Treatment Plant

       Focusing on promoting the efficient circular utilization of biomass resources, this project employs scientific process design and intelligent operational management to comprehensively treat biomass such as food waste and dead livestock. The project achieves the “reduction, harmlessness, and resource recovery” of biomass. The produced biogas can be converted into clean energy, effectively enhancing the efficiency of biomass resource utilization within the park, helping to build a green circular economy system, and serving as a benchmark project in the field of comprehensive biomass treatment.

 Precise Pollution Control, Strengthening the Water Environment Safety Line: Phase II Project of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

       This project addresses the needs for efficient wastewater treatment and recycling within the park, utilizing advanced processes for the advanced treatment of wastewater and concentrate. After operation, the effluent quality stably meets standards superior to Class IV Surface Water standards. The treated tailwater can be reused for park greening, equipment cooling, and other scenarios, achieving “near-zero wastewater discharge” for the park. It provides strong support for the continuous improvement of regional water environment quality and sets an example for the efficient operation and ecological synergy of wastewater treatment facilities.

 Dual Benefits, Safeguarding Food Safety and Ecology: Waste Edible Oil Treatment Project

       Aiming at the difficulties in the recovery and treatment of waste edible oil within the industry, this project establishes a complete closed-loop system of “reception—impurity removal—purification — utilization”. The project achieves the harmless treatment of waste edible oil, cutting off the chain of “gutter oil” returning to dining tables and safeguarding food safety. Simultaneously, it converts the treated oil into resources such as biodiesel, promoting the high-value utilization of waste resources. It delivers significant ecological and social benefits, providing a demonstration model for the standardized treatment of waste edible oil in the industry.

       In the future, GDE will take this honor as motivation to persistently practice the concept of green development, dedicate efforts in the field of ecological and environmental protection engineering, and continuously contribute to the construction of an ecological civilization through technological innovation and engineering practice, contributing professional strength to advancing the realization of the “Dual Carbon” goals and the building of a Beautiful China.

       It is reported that the 9th China IE Expo Guangzhou, under the theme “AI Empowerment Revitalizes the Industry, Industrial Collaboration Embarks on a New Journey”, brought together 285 environmental protection enterprises from 9 countries and regions worldwide. It successfully created a high-value, high-efficiency platform for technical exchange and exhibition connection, providing crucial breakthrough ideas and development opportunities for enterprises in the current market environment.
