GDE-Constructed Xinxing County Circular Economy Environmental Project Put into Operation 74 Days Ahead of Schedule Edit Date：2025/12/16

       On September 28th, the commissioning and plaque unveiling ceremony for the Xinxing County Circuthe Yunfu Municipal and Xinxing County governments, along with project participants, witnessed this important moment. Li Zhenzhou, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of GDE, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

       Since the commencement of pile foundation work on June 27, 2024, the project team consistently adhered to the action principle of “Safety First, Quality as the Foundation, Schedule as the Priority” in the face of numerous challenges including continuous rainy seasons, typhoons, and high-temperature heat. By meticulously organizing skilled personnel, scientifically planning the construction schedule, and dynamically optimizing resource allocation, they achieved the early completion of multiple key milestones, establishing yet another benchmark project for the company in the field of environmental engineering.

 Topping-out of the main building’s main structure was achieved 57 days ahead of the original plan Boiler hydrostatic test completed 20 days ahead of schedule High-temperature boiler baking and boiling out completed 38 days ahead of schedule Successfully completed the 72+24-hour full-load trial operation on September 24, 2025, 74 days ahead of the original planned construction period.

       During the trial operation period, all main and auxiliary unit equipment, including the waste incinerator, waste heat boiler, power generation unit, and flue gas purification system, maintained stable operation. All performance indicators demonstrated excellent results, with key performance parameters such as unit load, environmental emission indicators, and equipment operating status significantly surpassing design standards and contractual agreements.

       During the project construction phase, the project team, through scientific management methods and efficient coordination capabilities, ensured high-quality engineering and an accelerated construction schedule. Simultaneously, with a proactive and responsible service attitude, they actively coordinated the needs of all parties, ultimately achieving the outstanding result of commissioning 74 days ahead of schedule. This earned high recognition and praise from the Xinxing County Government Project Construction Task Force Leadership Group and the project owner, fully demonstrating GDE’s comprehensive strength and professional competence as the EPC contractor.

       Project Overview:

       This project is a key livelihood project at both the provincial and municipal levels. The main construction scope includes a waste-to-energy plant (treatment capacity:500t/d), a leachate treatment facility (treatment capacity: 150 m³/d), a fly ash landfill site, office and management buildings, production auxiliary buildings, as well as supporting roads, landscaping, power transmission and plant electricity systems, and water supply and drainage facilities.

       This project is not only an ecological project safeguarding clear waters and green mountains but also an engine project driving the high-quality economic development of the county. After commissioning, it is estimated that the project will incinerate approximately 182,500 tons of waste annually and generate about 67.9802 million kWh of electricity for the grid per year. It will effectively contribute to achieving the goals of harmless treatment, reduction, and resource recovery of municipal solid waste in Xinxing County and surrounding areas, providing solid support for improving the living environment and building a beautiful region.
