 Guangzhou Waste Power Battery Material Recycling and Utilization Project Officially Put into Operation

       This project is a general contracting project for waste lithium battery recycling and utilization undertaken and implemented by GDE. As the first waste battery material recycling and utilization project in Guangzhou, the project recovers key resources such as lithium, copper, and aluminum from waste power batteries, exploring and establishing a new circular economy model featuring ”local recycling, on-site processing, and circular utilization” of retired lithium batteries. It has formed core competitive advantages characterized by ”low consumption, high recovery rate, and optimized cost,” achieving efficient conversion from retired batteries to key raw materials such as battery-grade lithium carbonate. This creates a directional circular model of ”from green waste end to green product end,” providing a stable supply of recycled resources for the new energy industry in South China and even the entire country. The plant is also equipped with a photovoltaic and energy storage system to drive production with clean energy and explore a low-carbon recycling path.

       Leveraging two pioneering core technologies: the ”Full-Membrane Process for Lithium Regeneration” and the ”Liquid-Phase Non-Destructive Stripping”, the project has achieved dual breakthroughs in production efficiency and environmental protection. Auxiliary material consumption has been reduced by 90% compared to the industry average, and the lithium carbonate recovery rate exceeds 95%, 5 percentage points higher than the industry average. The comprehensive cost of recycled products is 30% optimized against industry benchmarks, while product performance matches that of virgin materials. The successful commissioning of this project marks the successful engineering implementation of GDE’s technological strength in the field of new energy material recycling, demonstrating GDE’s core ability to deeply integrate solid technical expertise with industrial practice and enhance industrial value through green innovation.

 Sichuan Lithium Battery Cathode Material R&D Center Project Completes First Steel Structure Hoisting

       Recently, the first steel structure hoisting was successfully completed for a lithium battery cathode material R&D center project in Sichuan, for which GDE is the general contractor. This project primarily involves the construction of an R&D line for high-voltage, high-density lithium battery cathode materials. It serves as an important platform for the client to focus on the R&D of new high-end cathode materials for lithium batteries and seize a competitive advantage in the market. Upon completion, the project will effectively enhance the client’s comprehensive capabilities in new product formulation R&D, process verification, technical risk control, and intelligent production coordination. It will promote the formation of a virtuous development cycle of ”low-cost input → high-level R&D → efficient transformation,” further strengthening the client’s technological moat and enhancing the core competitiveness of its supply chain.
