Technical Breakthrough in Fly Ash Resource Utilisation | GDE’s Full Wet Process Fly Ash Resource Utilisation Project Breaks Ground

Recently, the fly ash resource utilisation project at the Dongguan Haixinsha Resource Recycling Base officially commenced construction. GDE is responsible for the full engineering design of the fly ash resource recovery production line and the supporting plant facilities. The project adopts a [full wet process fly ash resource recovery technology]{.mark}, with ambient temperature, atmospheric pressure wet extraction as the core process, forming an integrated closed loop disposal system. Upon completion, it will achieve the full volume resource utilisation and high value added recovery of incineration fly ash, establishing a replicable and scalable model for fly ash resource utilisation.

GDE has been deeply engaged in the energy conservation, environmental protection, and solid waste treatment sectors for over three decades, accumulating substantial engineering design expertise and mature technology transfer experience. Leveraging its long standing technical strengths, GDE has successfully transformed the full wet process fly ash resource recovery technology from a conceptual approach into a complete, deliverable, and stable engineering [implementation solution]{.mark}. The complete process precisely separates and purifies sodium, potassium, calcium, chlorine, ammonium, and heavy metals from fly ash, directly producing high purity industrial salts and other products, achieving full component utilisation that “extracts every value” from the fly ash. In addition, it synergistically utilises industrial wastes such as waste acids and waste salts, forming a “waste treats waste” closed loop, and realising the three core objectives of ”low cost, high value, and full resource utilisation” for fly ash.

In recent years, GDE has increased its R&D investment in the field of fly ash resource utilisation, established a core technology R&D team, launched dedicated research projects, and continuously pursued process iteration and technological breakthroughs. The company is committed to driving the upgrading of the solid waste treatment industry towards higher value and greener operations through independent innovation, empowering environmental engineering with meticulous design, contributing to the construction of “zero waste cities” with professional expertise, and making greater contributions to the harmless and resourceful disposal of municipal solid waste.
