Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response | GDE Fully Launches Work Safety Month Activities Edit Date：2026/06/04

June this year marks the 25th national Work Safety Month. To thoroughly implement the requirements for work safety, further raise all staff’s safety awareness, improve work safety management standards, and consolidate GDE’s work safety defense line, GDE and all its affiliated project sites have successively held launching ceremonies for the 2026 Work Safety Month. Through various forms including mobilization meetings, banner signing ceremonies and emergency drills, the activities help embed safety concepts deep in people’s minds and lay a solid foundation for GDE’s work safety operations.

On June 1, GDE participated in the 2026 Work Safety Month launch event of China Haisheng. Centered on the core theme “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response – Identify and Rectify Potential Risks and Hidden Dangers”, GDE held its internal launch meeting. All participants watched the safety education film Identifying and Rectifying Potential Risks and Hidden Dangers, and key work arrangements for Work Safety Month were deployed. Members of GDE’s leadership team and persons-in-charge of all departments attended the meeting.

Li Zhenzhou, Party Secretary and Chairman of GDE, put forward four requirements for work safety:

1.Elevate political standing and fully recognize the great significance of the activities. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we shall thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on work safety. Adhering to the principles of “focusing on ideological awareness, relying on scientific management, and valuing consistent perseverance”, we will take Work Safety Month as a vital opportunity to strengthen accountability, eliminate hidden dangers, improve emergency response capabilities and reinforce safety defenses.

2.Closely follow the activity theme and deliver high-quality completion of core tasks. We will prioritize six key missions: deepening safety study and publicity, comprehensively identifying and rectifying hidden risks, hosting Safety Consultation Day events, stepping up training and emergency drills, launching fire hazard elimination campaigns, boosting digital empowerment and setting benchmark examples.

3.Strengthen organizational support to ensure tangible outcomes of all activities. Reinforce organizational leadership to guarantee clear responsibility at every level, full accountability for every task and complete delivery of every initiative. Scale up publicity efforts by setting up special publicity columns, hanging promotional banners and carrying out themed campaigns to foster a strong atmosphere prioritizing work safety. Pursue practical results by integrating the activities with root-cause improvement campaigns, hidden danger remediation and accountability implementation, so as to effectively resolve problems, enhance competence and prevent safety incidents.

4.Deliver solid work safety management for overseas projects. In light of the actual conditions of GDE’s overseas projects, we will focus on key links including special inspections of overseas risks, compliance and local management, improvement of emergency response systems, and safety protection for overseas personnel, to fully build a robust overseas safety barrier.

All project departments joined GDE’s Work Safety Month launch meeting via online channels and rolled out a series of Work Safety Month activities at their respective sites simultaneously. Extensive safety publicity and education programs have been carried out to rapidly build momentum for work safety.
