Guangdong and Fujian Join Hands to Expand New Horizons | Jiayuan Environmental Protection Visits GDE for Exchange Edit Date：2026/05/14

Recently, a delegation led by Yang Qiang, Senior Vice President of Hanwei Technology Group, President of its Smart Environmental Protection Business Group, and Chairman of Jiayuan Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., visited GDE for exchange. The two sides discussed new opportunities in the environmental protection industry and explored new paths for collaboration on projects both domestically and overseas. The delegation included Wang Xiangguang, President of Jiayuan Environmental Protection, and Zhang Fuyin, General Manager of Xueshu Digital Intelligence. GDE’s Party Secretary and Chairman Li Zhenzhou, General Manager Zhang Chengfeng, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer Li Fang, and Deputy General Manager and Trade Union Chairman Zhu Cheng gave them a warm reception.

During the exchange meeting, Li Zhenzhou extended a warm welcome to the delegation and gave a detailed introduction to GDE’s development history and core business layout, with a special focus on GDE’s key strengths and benchmark cases in environmental protection projects both at home and abroad, general project contracting, overseas project construction, and full cycle operation management.

Yang Qiang introduced Hanwei’s integrated solution for smart environmental protection, which combines ”online monitoring – pollution treatment – smart environmental systems – operation and maintenance management” , and its core strategy of providing full process services for environmental monitoring, wastewater treatment, and waste gas treatment to government and enterprises using digital intelligence technologies.

The two sides held in depth discussions on topics such as upgrading the domestic environmental protection market, joint exploration of overseas environmental projects, project construction coordination, operation management mutual support, and complementary resource advantages. They reached a consensus on deeply cultivating the environmental protection market both in China and abroad and creating benchmark cooperative projects, which clarified the direction and laid a solid foundation for subsequent all round and multi level cooperation. In addition, both sides shared experiences and learned from each other on trade union development, internal management, and corporate culture building.

During the visit, the delegation made an on site tour of the Nansha Domestic Waste to Energy Project undertaken by GDE, where they received detailed briefings on project planning and construction, technical processes, environmental treatment performance, and operation management. The delegation highly recognised GDE’s professional expertise and proven experience in the resource utilisation of domestic waste and the implementation of environmental engineering projects. The two sides also exchanged views on technological innovation in solid waste treatment projects and refined project operation, building practical consensus for future cooperation.

At the end of the exchange, the two sides held a “Guangdong Fujian Cup” basketball friendly match, which fostered cooperative consensus through sports and strengthened the friendship between the enterprises from Guangdong and Fujian, adding vibrant energy to the exchange activity.
